Delicious Tomato Salad using Edzè Spice blend & Fermented Garlic Honey dressing
Family make this quick, refreshing and healthy Tomatoes Salad and serve alongside your grills, barbecues or rice dishes.
Be creative with the type of herbs you use; see suggestions and alternatives below ;
6 large washed and chopped Tomatoes into sizeable chunks
1 medium sliced White Salad Onion
1 mild chopped Red Chilli
HERBS or the HERBY BLEND
1 teaspoon of fresh Oregano
1 teaspoon of fresh Fennel leaves
4 -6 Mint leaves
4-5 fresh baby Sage leaves
Salad Burnet leaves
Winter Savoury leaves
Use a levelled teaspoon of the Herby blend
FERMENTED GARLIC DRESSING
2 tablespoonfuls of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
4 tablespoonful of Extra Virgin Olive oil
1 levelled teaspoon of the Edzè Spice blend (the taste of salt using spices without the actual salt)
1 tablespoonful of the Fermented Garlic Honey
Optional Salt to taste
In a bowl mix the Apple Cider Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive oil, Fermented Garlic Honey and Edzè spice blend until well combined.
Add the sliced Onions, Chillies, preferred Herbs and mix till well combined
Add the chopped Tomatoes and mix till well combined.
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes and enjoy.
Enjoy as a Salad and savour the complex and refreshing flavours
Use as a side dish for your Pies, Grills, Barbecues or Sandwiches
Use as a base for your Canapés toppings
