Fermented Garlic Honey glazed Ribs recipe
Let's make this no fuss and equally delicious Fermented Honey Glazed Ribs and Sweet Potatoes. A rewarding Friday meal.
INGREDIENTS
800g of Pork Ribs
500g of peeled Sweet Potatoes cut in half
6 Sage leaves
3 tablespoonfuls of Cold Pressed Organic Coconut oil
2 tablespoonfuls of Fermented Garlic Honey
1 tablespoonful of our All Purpose Holy Grail Spice blend
1 teaspoonful of Rose Harissa
Koobi Salt and Smoked Ada Salt to taste
METHOD
Place the ribs in a bowl and add the Holy Grail spice blend and Koobi Salt .
Mix the rub into the ribs and refrigerate for a minimum of an hour (better still overnight)
When ready to cook, add the Rose Harissa, Coconut oil including the Smoked Ada Salt and Sichuan Pepper Seasoning to the Sweet Potatoes
Mix everything till the marinade covers the Sweet Potatoes completely
Preheat your oven to 180*c
Using your ClayPot or baking tray, spread the marinated Sweet Potatoes and sit the ribs on top of the Potatoes (if you’re using a baking tray cover it with foil).
Add the Sage leaves , cover your Claypot and bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
Take the ribs out and add the fermented Garlic Honey including some Garlic pieces.
Bake the ribs for a further 5 minutes and turn the heat off. Allow the ribs to sit in the oven for 10 minutes and serve.
