Goat Curry and Yam in Carib Blend
Our Carib blend includes all the classic spices and herbs required to make this Goat Curry or any Curry dish with your preferred protein and Vegetables.
INGREDIENTS
1kg of Goat Meat or any protein of your choosing
2 teaspoonful of the Buy Ndudu Carib Gold
440ml of Coconut milk
1 teaspoon of Cold Pressed Coconut oil
1 Habanero Chilli
3 large peeled and sliced Onions
2 sprigs of Thyme (optional as the Carib blend includes Thyme)
1 teaspoon of Buy Ndudu’s Bolu (smoked shrimp) blend seasoning or any seasoning of your choosing.
100ml of Water
Salt to taste
METHOD
Marinade the Goat Meat with the Carib blend, Coconut oil, Thyme, Seasoning and sliced Onions for a minimum of 2hrs in a fridge.
Best to marinade in a non staining container with a lid overnight in the fridge.
Preheat your oven to 180*c
Transfer the marinated Goat Meat into a Casserole pan with its lid, add water and salt to taste.
Mix everything together till it’s well combined and bake it in the Oven for 35 minutes.
Add the Coconut Milk and bake for a further 10 minutes.
Serve with the classic Jamaican Rice & Peas or in my case with boiled Yam.
